The Climate Agreement approved in Paris in 2015 formally established the need to combat global warming by implementing concrete actions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The agreement signed represents a historic stance and a global commitment to tackle the climate change we are witnessing.
In the current scenario it is essential to adopt efficient carbon management policies, making a concrete contribution to sustainable development. To this end, TTS developed in 2018 a system for the automatic counting of greenhouse gas emissions for each phase of the life cycle of products. TTS does not stop at the assessment of the environmental footprint but uses the extrapolated data to design products with low environmental impact, to implement offsettingprograms and to promote a conscious and responsible choice by communicating the findings.
The work carried out has made it possible to achieve an important goal: TTS is one of the first companies in the world to have obtained the certification of the CFP Systematic Approach implemented.
TTS's commitment on the green front has been recognized by the Veneto Region, which awarded the company with the CompraVerde Award 2019 for standing out in the field of sustainable development and environmental respect: the system implemented for the assessment of the carbon footprint has obtained the prestigious award "Best technology for sustainable development", awarded after a careful evaluation that involved the main national experts.
